On November 6, XCMG and Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group held a signing ceremony for deepening strategic cooperation. Zhang Liang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group, and Yang Dongsheng, Chairman and Party Secretary of XCMG and XCMG Machinery, attended and witnessed the signing.
Yang Dongsheng warmly welcomed Zhang Liang and his delegation to XCMG. He said that Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group is the largest state-owned forest management agency in northern China, with rich forestry resources and a wide range of business areas. In this cooperation, the two parties will rely on their respective advantages to jointly develop forest industry machinery and equipment suitable for the special environment of forest areas for scenarios such as forest fire prevention, geological disasters, post-disaster governance, and comprehensive utilization, and contribute XCMG's strength to the modernization process of China's forestry industry.
During the talks, Zhang Liang said that the Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group is currently in a critical period of comprehensively deepening reforms and accelerating industrial development. It is urgently needed to cooperate deeply with leading enterprises and large state-owned enterprises to develop machinery and equipment that meet the characteristics of forest areas, site conditions, and high-cold climates. This is highly consistent with XCMG's pursuit of industrial development, and the prospects for cooperation between the two sides are broad.
Song Zhike, Vice President of XCMG Machinery and General Manager of XCMG Excavator Division, and Zhang Tiejun, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group, signed a deepening strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.
This deepening cooperation marks a new height in the strategic partnership between the two parties, which is of great significance to the ecological security, industrial transformation and high-quality economic development of the key state-owned forest areas of Daxinganling in Inner Mongolia, and will further achieve a win-win situation for ecological and economic benefits.
Before the signing, the Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group visited XCMG excavators, scrapers, firefighting and XCMG experience hall. Leaders of relevant XCMG units accompanied them to participate in the event.
