In 2014, XCMG actively responded to the "Belt and Road" initiative and established the XCMG-Uzbekistan joint venture UzXCMG, which is also XCMG's first manufacturing base in Central Asia.
Over the past ten years, the joint venture has developed in Uzbekistan and has delivered thousands of equipment. These equipment are widely used in local mining, municipal engineering, agriculture and water conservancy and other fields, injecting strong impetus into Uzbekistan's economic development and becoming a symbol of China-Uzbekistan friendly cooperation.
Murodjon Achilov Azamatovich, the first deputy governor of Khorezm, spoke highly of XCMG's outstanding contribution to local development: "The XCMG-Uzbekistan joint venture not only provides us with advanced engineering machinery and equipment, but also becomes an important force in promoting local economic development by creating jobs and providing skills training. We look forward to further deepening our cooperation with XCMG and contributing to the future development of Uzbekistan."
During the celebration series of activities, a bulk purchase order for 100 wheeled excavators was successfully signed; a batch of products was ceremoniously shipped and will soon be put into major projects in various fields such as local urban construction and mining; the customs warehouse of the joint venture was inaugurated and the ribbon was cut, which will greatly improve the efficiency of customs clearance and logistics, and help to quickly respond to customer needs.
